Brought up in Stamford, Lincolnshire, much of Seth’s childhood was devoted to football and writing. Now, at the age of 29, much of Seth’s time is dedicated to football and writing.
Seth’s first book came about as a result of football. Following a series of fortunate events he was spotted by a scout in Brazil at the age of 18. The Boy in Brazil details a magical season spent playing professional football in Sorriso and was shortlisted for Football Book of the Year at the 2016 British Sport Book Awards.
After returning from Brazil, Seth graduated from Loughborough University with a BA in English & Sports Science and an MA in English.
He went into advertising, working for clients such as Nike and Jaguar Land Rover in copywriting and social media management.
Throughout this time, Seth continued to write. He has now written seven books, including collaborations with footballers and world famous YouTubers, as well as fiction and non-fiction books for children.
Seth now works full-time as an author, combining his writing with school visits and workshops. He supplements this with freelance work as a social media consultant and copywriter.
He continues to play sport and recently spent a season playing professional football in Sri Lanka. The book is due to be released in 2021 – along with a host of others…
