Brought up in Stamford, Lincolnshire, much of Seth’s childhood was devoted to football and writing. Now, at the age of 27, much of Seth’s time is dedicated to football and writing.
Seth’s first book came about as a result of football. After a series of fortunate events he was spotted by a scout in Brazil at the age of 18. The Boy in Brazil details a magical season spent playing professional football in Sorriso and was shortlisted for Football Book of the Year at the 2016 British Sport Book Awards.
He followed this up with Developing the Modern Footballer Through Futsal, Football’s Coming Out (longlisted for the William Hill Sports Book of the Year), and his first children’s book, No Final Whistle.
Recent collaborations have seen him ghostwrite books for Careers in Football and two of the world’s biggest YouTubers, which is due for release in September 2019.
Having previously worked for brands such as Nike and Rolls-Royce as a copywriter and social media manager, Seth now dedicates himself to writing, speaking, and his work as a publisher with Floodlit Dreams.
Away from writing, Seth has appeared alongside Alan Davies and Martine McCutcheon in his first film, The Bromley Boys.
He continues to play sport and currently competes in the FA Futsal National Super League for Southend Futsal.
