Workshops

Author visit (2)

Over the last ten years, Seth has given hundreds of talks at secondary schools, colleges and universities around the world.

Such talks are often followed by workshops in either creative writing, persuasive writing, ghostwriting, or biography. Though he is happy to work with a wide range of abilities, and often leads able writer workshops, Seth specialises in engaging reluctant writers.

Represented in schools by Authors Abroad, Seth is available for further talks and workshops. Contact Yvonne at Authors Abroad for more information.

He also now holds one-to-one workshops for writers, helping them to develop their own stories and articles. Contact Seth directly to find out more.

‘Seth has been kind enough to visit my school twice. On both occasions he has captured students’ imagination and interest. He speaks brilliantly and is able to engage youngsters. They wanted to know more and ask questions. It was fabulous from the perspective of teaching them about Brazil. However, Seth went further in inspiring the students to think out of the box and have ambitions – both from the football angle and also in writing a book. I would have Seth in again without any hesitation.’  Nene Park Academy, Peterborough

Seth has worked on a number of Creative Writing and English-related workshops for both school groups and the community as part of Loughborough University’s Outreach Programme. He has always remained punctual and professional – preparing any work to deadline – but, most importantly, he is a really personable character with an inspiring story that manages to truly capture students’ imaginations.’ Loughborough University

Seth was wonderful! And I hope to invite him again in a couple of years’ time. The students loved listening to him.’ Whitgift School

The visit was a great success – so much so that I have been asked to rebook him! Students responded well to his workshops and staff were very impressed.’ Kingsmead School

Our students really enjoyed his workshops and we would welcome Seth back in the future.’ Isleworth and Syon School

He was fantastic, really engaged with the young people and produced a fabulous session.’ Harrogate Grammar School

‘Seth was very generous with his time, speaking to several different year groups, and he put a lot of thought into his talk to make it a really interesting event for our students with lots of cross-curricular connections and possibilities for us as a school! We have had a great response to his visit from both students and staff and now have readers eagerly waiting to read all of his books.’ Fallibroome Academy
